A 3 rep max Thrusters strength session, setting a new PR of 135 lbs, followed by a 4 round AMRAP 3 minutes of 6 Ring Push-Ups, 3 Squat Cleans and 3 Thrusters, with 95 lbs, resting 1 minute between rounds; total rounds: 8, plus 12 reps.
A nice little Saturday WOD in the Park with Mike P., M3, and Troy (Mike’s Sister’s friend). Sprinting and calisthenics.
A difficult WOD from the Mothership: 400 meter walking lunges.

A quick note about my second Tuesday strength day.
A rest day and travel day finds me trying to eat breakfast while in the airports of Asheville and Charlotte. Which leads to another rant on American eating habits.

Front squats, in which I got a new 3 rep max PR, followed by the WOD “Trip,” involving 21-15-9 Power Cleans and Box Jumps, in which I stumbled slowly through.
First of my new program of Tuesday Strength Days. I set a new PR in Clean and Jerk at 140 lbs, and did work sets in Deadlift at 225 lbs.
